Dark Light

The last Friday in September was worth the wait – on that night, Tallinn University of Technology took science enthusiasts, young and old, on an incredible journey into the magical world of science! Many exciting labs and captivating workshops offered endless discoveries.

Had a very nice evening at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology’s #TeadlasteÖÖ 2024 with the two JakSam brothers. From building our first Folkrace robot to exploring the “zoo of robots” at the Center for Biorobotics, it was an inspiring look at the future of science and engineering.

We also got to see the launch of the latest children’s book from #TalTech x Rahva Raamat, “Paul hakkab inseneriks“, which introduces young readers to the world of engineering through the adventures of Paul, a curious six-year-old who loves tinkering in the garage with his dad. It’s the perfect read to spark curiosity and perhaps inspire a few future engineers!🤖

A big thank you to the TalTech Robotics Club team for guiding us as we built our first Folkrace robot – seeing it speed like crazy on the track made our day! The Biorobotics lab was like stepping into a sci-fi movie! My sons loved seeing the Hollywood-famous robot dog (without the flamethrower), robot turtles diving, and even testing a moose-inspired robot leg in the mud.

It’s incredible to see how TalTech makes science and engineering hands-on and fun for all ages. Here’s to fostering curiosity and inspiring the next generation of innovators! 🚀
